E-Rate Demand Grows As More Districts Seek Higher Broadband Speeds

After analyzing Funding Year 2014 E-rate applications, Funds For Learning found that the demand for E-rate funding is growing, especially in rural areas. Other observations include a shift to higher broadband speeds and less competition between applicants for internal connections and maintenance. This E-rate applicant review precedes impending and historic change to the E-rate program.
